  • Limited Edition Cassette
    Cassette + Digital Album

Cassette tape version of the Sturm und Drang album, with a hand-assembled die-cut Risograph printed cover. The B-side has a recording of our show at Johan och Micke Festival 2014, where we played all the songs from the album, except one. If, and that's a big if, we make a new edition of the tape, it will be with something else on the B-side, possibly even no B-side at all! So don't snooze on this one! Limited to 30 copies.

UPDATE! You snoozed on it, and now we're all out of cassettes. I think it'll always be available on CD though. Downloads we'll definitely never run out of, but we'll try our darndest!

Our debut album! A lean half hour and change of no-nonsense noise rock. Everything you hear on this recording was played by Rickard and Robert Lindblom over three days in October 2013, with some additional percussion, feedback and guitars sporadically recorded over a twelve month period following that. This is not a record where we’ve gone overboard with overdubs, synthesizers, elaborate orchestral arrangements, and other things one might be tempted to do with all the studio time in the world. We’ve kept it all pretty bare bones and true to what our band sounds like in a live environment. Basically we wanted to capture the essence of us two playing in a room together, and I guess, us playing guitars a little bit later in a room together over the bass and drum tracks. You see, we have divided the instruments up as such that Rickard plays the Slingerland drums and the Stratocaster, and Robert plays the Jazz Bass and Telecaster, and since we only have so many arms we couldn’t do both at the same time. But that’s neither here nor there, let’s get back to what this album sounds like. There’s the repetitive and rhythmic riffing of Strom, the cocky bass lines of Sturm and Durmstrang, the loud–quiet–weird dynamics of Dorm, the straight forward rocking of Grand, the hypnotic, duelling guitar melodies of Weltschmerz, and then there are the things that are in between, or some combination of all that stuff. All in all, these eight songs make
up an album that may seem stand-offish at first listen, but will not cease to invite the listener to come back.
